Valentine Gel Nails

Valentine Gel Nails

We are less than one month away from Valentine’s Day, so cue up all the hearts everywhere.  I love getting Valentine gel nails and designs this time of year.

Right below are a few of my pink manicures from years passed.  These are all gel nails for Valentine’s Day.

This has to be one of my favorite mani and pedi moments.

The combo of white, hot pink, bubblegum pink and baby pink mixed with hearts and polka dots is just so fun.  I think this combo is originally from 2014.

Another nail moment I really loved was this pink ombre mani.

So chic but still so fun without any additional nail art.

Bubblegum pink is fun all year long, but especially for Valentine’s Day.

I love a pretty almond shaped nail.  My Mawmaw always wore her natural nails in this shape and it feels like a gentle reminder of her.

This shade looks very much like “Lovie Dovie” from Essie, which appears to now be discontinued.

Since having Kenny, I’ve steered clear of the coffin shaped nails only because they need to be longer than I’d like with having a little one.

Man, I miss these nails though.  I think they’re just sexy.

I’ve found coffin shaped to be the hardest nail shape to maintain.  If your acrylic is too thick, the nails just look wonky.  The shape was also hard on my natural nails as they grew with the acrylics.

If I had to guess, I’d say I’m wearing “Pinking of you” nail polish from OPI.

Throughout the years, I’ve had many adorable Valentine gel nails with and without nail art.  Sadly, these are the only photos I could find.

Clearly, I need to be better about taking more photos of my nails so I can create more posts like this for inspiration for y’all.  But here’s a closer look at my current nail situation.

Here is a quick video showing the before and after of my most recent manicure for Valentine’s Day.
