Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Casserole

Pillsbury cinnamon rolls are a holiday breakfast staple in our house.  Several years ago, I started making this cinnamon roll breakfast casserole and it’s become a family favorite.  It’s a fun twist on a french toast casserole.

This breakfast casserole is sweet and so delicious.  It’s incredibly easy to make and a great dish to prepare with your little ones.  Kenny loves helping make this with me.

Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Casserole

  • 1 can Cinnamon Rolls
  • 1/4 cup butter ((melted))
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  1. Preheat oven to 350º.
  2. Melt butter in the bottom of a 9×9 pan.
  3. Mix together egg, heavy whipping cream, cinnamon and vanilla.
  4. Unroll cinnamon rolls and cut them into small pieces, like pizza slices.
  5. Mix cinnamon roll pieces into egg mixture until all pieces are evenly coated.
  6. Pour into buttered pan and baker for 18-25 minutes, until cooked through.
  7. Warm icing for cinnamon rolls and pour over cinnamon roll bake. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. May be served with maple syrup.
