If ever there was a magical pair of jeans, this pair would be them.

I’m always on the hunt for some new denim.  Denim can be so difficult.  The way a pair of jeans look on me won’t necessarily look the same on you.  I run into this problem all the time when shopping online.  If you don’t have the exact body type or size as the model you’re looking at, there’s a good chance you might be disappointed when you try them on at home.  It can be so frustrating.  I actually love shopping on websites that allow customers to upload their try-on photos with their review.  You know there’s no better way to view clothes than mirror selfies of real life women…  And sometimes the reviews are hilarious to boot!

Back to these jeansFocus, Ang…  When I saw that Spanx introduced denim, I couldn’t wait to try them on this booty.  I’ve been a Spanx fan forever.  Shapewear is right up there with pantyhose for me, something I think women don’t appreciate enough.  These jeans are incredible and here’s why: they make you look great.  For reals though.  Between the tummy shaping panel, placement of the back pockets (so much more important than you may think!) and high waist design to help control muffin top, I’m promising you, you need to give these a try.  They are available from XS-3X, which is amazing.  They pull on like leggings and hold you in in all the right places.  I’m wearing them in a XS for size reference.  They are on the pricier side at $128 a pair.  Personally, I’d rather have quality over quantity when it comes to jeans.  One great fitting pair trumps 5 unflattering pairs in my book any day.  PS- this is not sponsored, I’m just sharing something I really love.  Can you feel my excitement through your screen right now?

I paired them with my current favorite tank top from Reformation and my go-to nude heelsI have been a fan of these heels for years.

Tell me, do you have a go-to pair of jeans?  If so, share the wealth, girlfriend!  Leave a comment below with your faves.

Articles of Society Jeans. They are soft, comfortable and very flattering. They are my go to jean for sure! And the price is very affordable!

These look fantastic on you! My favorite pair is my Calvins I bought from Costco a few years back. Only $20!

Hi Angela. I am looking into buying the Spanx Jeans you reviewed and recommended and the Spanx faux leather legging. I’m in a complete battle with myself. I usually wear a size 0/25 in most jeans. Leggings I typically like them snug and get an XS. But…these sound like in the reviews online that they run very small. My hips measure right at 36” but waist 25”. The size chart recommended I get a Small. But size charts for me aren’t always right. I don’t want to get a Small and then the stretch out on me. What is your opinion and thoughts on the sizing of these Spanx? Thanks!

Hey Emily! So I wear a 26 in jeans and I’m wearing a XS. They are snug and haven’t stretched out in the many times I’ve worn them. If I were you, I would order a XS and a Small from Nordstrom and send back the pair that doesn’t fit since they have free shipping and free returns. I send returns back to Nordstrom all the time, I only show the pieces I actually like on the blog and send back whatever doesn’t work for me. 🙂
      I hope this helps!!
