2015 has been a good year. In a nutshell, here are a few of my travel highlights from this past year:
I experienced my first ever New York Fashion Week this past February, and was sent there by Garnier to film my first true video campaign. I then was able to attend Fashion Week again in September, and experienced much more enjoyable weather that trip.
In April, I attended my first rewardStyle Conference in Dallas and met some amazing blogger babes that are absolute inspirations.
In June, we celebrated our second wedding anniversary in the charming beach town, Del Mar and stayed at L’Auberge Del Mar. See a recap of our trip in this post.
We spent our summer living in the South, specifically in Mobile, AL, while Matt filmed his grandfather’s story, U.S.S. Indianapolis: Men of Courage. During that time, I was able to travel to Tennessee and Georgia to visit with family. We also discovered my favorite beach on earth, 30A – Fort Walton Beach area in Florida (Seaside Beach in my absolute favorite!) and fall even more in love with the South.
We spent 10 days in Ohio in November and were able to celebrat my Mawmaw’s 89th birthday as well as Thanksgiving with friends and family. The very next weekend, Matt whisked me away to a dream of weekend getaway in Santa Barbara and we stayed at on of our very favortie spots, Bacara Resort.
I’m now settled back home in Los Angeles with my hubby and pup, Soka. It’s been a crazy busy year and we’ve worked hard on Hello Gorgeous to bring my Gorgeous Family beautiful content. These past (almost) three years of creating, evolving and running Hello Gorgeous has been an absolute joy and I can’t wait to continue this journey into the years to come.
