Mom and I spent our entire afternoon deep cleaning and decorating my back patio. Yes, I filmed it for y’all. And let me tell you, I’m pooped! And my sciatica is screaming at me. But, that video will be up on Saturday at 3:00pm CST. ?
While cleaning and decorating, I realized that my video will most likely serve as some major inspiration for viewers to get up and deep clean their own patios. We are 37 days away from summer, so it’s TIME.
I did a little shopping today and put together this inspiration board of fun patio pieces. The majority of items are from Walmart and others are currently on sale.

One thing I think every GG should have on her patio? A vertical garden. Mine has brought me so much joy throughout quarantine. I have found gardening to be so therapeutic. And let me just say… Before my vertical garden, I had a black thumb. I killed every plant I touched. I slowed down and watched my mom this time. Learning how to read my plants has been a joy. I still have so much to learn, and I’m so excited to soak up all the knowledge. I’m now a bonafide plant lady.
