I was asked by Carusele to participate in the #JaredTimelessMoments campaign, sponsored by Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry.  Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own.

I have learned so much the past four months of life.  We women are truly heroes.  We bring life into this world, which is a miracle, but then we go on to breastfed, love, nurture, care and sacrifice for these little ones that we gave life to.  Motherhood ain’t easy.  It is, however, the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done.

I’m so excited to be celebrating my first Mother’s Day this year as a member of the new mom’s club.  Mother’s Day has always been a day that I enjoy; I loved loving on my mom and Mawmaw.  I still get to celebrate my mom, but I’m thrilled to be celebrated by my own sweet girl in the years to come.  That thought brings me so much joy.

One thing that most people don’t know about me is that I’m sentimental.  I love pieces that have a story behind them.  For instance, we have framed handwritten recipes hanging in my kitchen that were passed down  in my family.  On my stovetop, I have salt & pepper shakers that were wedding gifts given to my grandparents in the 1940s.  The items that I especially love a story behind is jewelry.  Each piece of my everyday jewelry has a story behind it.  My right hand ring was passed down to my Mawmaw, and now I have the privilege of wearing it.  I had her ring refinished and I will always cherish it, someday passing it down to MacKenlee.
When it comes to shopping for Mother’s Day, my favorite gift will always be jewelry.  I now view my jewelry purchases differently, because I want to invest in pieces that I can pass down to my daughter.  Beautiful pieces that can be worn from everyday to special occasion.  I want my jewelry to remain timeless, like these stunning gold diamond stud earrings.  I look for pieces to be classic designs when I’m shopping for heirloom jewelry…  Not to mention, what better item to pass down to future generations than diamonds?  Hello, diamonds are definitely a girl’s best friend!  🙂
Whenever I want to shop for a piece of jewelry that will be a part of a story, I know I can turn to Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry.  Jared always has what I’m looking for, as well as a great selection to choose from.  Their jewelry speaks in a way that goes beyond words. Jared will help you find the perfect gift for any occasion and at any price point.
What about you?  What is your most sentimental possession?  Leave a comment below and let me know the story behind your favorite item you own.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry. The opinions and text are all mine.

My most prized possession that was passed down to me was my parents wedding rings after my mother passed away. I will always cherish these rings.

Congratulations and I was wondering if you could ask Matt Lanter if he could give me some tips. I want to be an actress and i’m also from Ohio and it’s pretty hard to get into it here. I am a huge fan of him and i watch your youtube vidoes which I love. I watched Star- Crossed the other day and i was kinda disappointed but I loved it and now im watching 90210. I applied to an acting agency in columbus which i’m in Marion and my parents can’t take me. I’ve always wanted to be on screen and act. It looks so fun. I van sing also if that helps. I’ll be 16 on mothers day. Happy Mothers Day and you baby is adorable and has the most precious eyes.

  • I collect all sorts of jelwlery for work; from authentic vintage, to modern day costume, to the real deal, I’ve got a closet full for shoots or just to let my daughter play around! My all-time favorite piece though is the one that never leaves me, my engagement ring. My husband and I actually found it at Jared eight years ago! It’s incredibly ornate with dozens of different hand set diamonds and etching all around the band. It has this incredible vintage appeal that literally made me tear up when I first saw the setting in the case (even my wedding dress didn’t make me cry, ha!). It will certainly be one of our most cherished heirloom pieces!

  • Besides my wedding rings, my most prized piece of jewelry at this point in my life is my gold necklace with two pendants – one is the paw print of our cat (our first baby) and now another with the footprint of our son Charlie.. I got it on Mother’s Day this year! I love wearing it because it’s perfect for everyday. Simple but means so much!

A gold charm bracelet my mother left to me after she passed away. It has the 3 charms of her children and I added my 2 boys, a butterfly because she loved them and a cross. Since I only have boys I will pass it on to my oldest son’s wife when he gets married or if they have a daughter than to her.
