Merry Christmas Angela Lanter Hello Gorgeous

We’re not quite ready to let Christmas go at the Lanter house.  We’re still enjoying our decorations, Christmas cookies and classic movies.  We’re trying to squeeze out every last drop of Christmas that we can get, lol.  Honestly, we’re like this every year, but knowing that this was our last Christmas before baby L arrives, makes us want to be sure to really not miss out on anything.

I’ve had the worst leg pains this trimester which has really limited my evening activities.  This is the first year that we’ve been together that we skipped Christmas Eve candlelight church service, but I needed to stay off my feet.  Hopefully next year, we’ll be able to pick up that tradition again.  Otherwise, we held true to every single one of our other Christmas traditions this year (except Disneyland, which my feet absolutely couldn’t handle right now).  Some of those traditions include: baking cookies, going out to look at Christmas lights on Christmas night, breakfast at the Beverly Hills Hotel and more.

Leave a comment below and let me know if you and your family have any special traditions for Christmas that you look forward to each year.  I love getting new ideas from you about different things we could be doing!

      Newlywed traditions are the best!! Is your mom’s famous Chex Mix called puppy chow by any chance? That’s my FAVE!!!

  • My family watches Home Alone at least twice a year. This past year I have really enjoyed driving around looking at Christmas lights with my boyfriend. This is something that I’ve never done as a kid. Oh and I honestly can’t wait to meet Baby L. I’m most excited to see what name you’re going to choose
    Kate || KATE KOUTURES

      That movie is the best!! We love looking at Christmas lights too! We have certain neighborhoods we go to every year. 🙂

  • I feel you on not letting Christmas go. All of my decorations are up and I’m still listening to the music. It’s so sad to me to take everything down.

  • Your photos are to die for! How have you been sizing for maternity at Lulu*s? I notice that this dress has that it’s very stretchy – are you still purchasing your normal size or going up one? I have a couple of events coming up that I need dresses for and shopping in the third trimester is an event in and of itself!

    We eat pizza rolls and drink egg nog while putting up our Christmas tree & decorating the house, then on Christmas Eve we go to candle light church, watch “It’s A Wonderful Life”, eat chili dogs & open our Christmas pajamas!
