Oh, this blue maxi dress. It’s the perfect fall dress. I wore this to a bloggers brunch yesterday and out for some errands and received multiple compliments. It’s the fall dress I’ve been dreaming of and it fits so perfectly. I always get weird about buying maxi dresses because I don’t like when they’re too short to wear with heels, but too long to wear with flats. This dress is the absolute perfect length. I’m 5’4″ and regular 32″ inseam and wearing this in a size “Small” just for your reference.
The neckline is a little too low to wear a normal bra with and the back is open, so I chose to wear my go-to stick-on bra. It worked out perfectly because I just folded the clasps inward. I really believe that every woman should have this bra in her undies drawer because it comes in so handy. In fact, if you need a little oomph with a dress that too large in the chest, wear this stick-on bra under your regular or strapless bra to help fill it out a bit.
One item that I think is an absolute must-buy for fall is nude pumps. Nude heels automatically elongate the leg by tricking the eye into thinking your legs look longer. Plus, they go with just about every outfit you could possibly put together. I wear mine with everything from dresses to jeans. I know these nude pumps are a little on the pricier side, but the fit and comfort of this particular pair is worth every penny. I’ve worn them many, many times and never once had a blister or sore tootsie from them. They fit exactly true to size and are the most comfortable pair of pumps I’ve ever owned.
