This or That Beauty Quiz

I’ve been seeing “This or That” beauty questionnaire circling the internet so I though it may be fun to fill this out. Here we go!
makeup
blush or bronzer: I feel like you can’t have one without the other but if I have to choose, then definitely bronzer!
lip gloss or lipstick: I like them layered!! But if only one, then gloss.
eye liner or mascara: mascara is a must. Always. L’oreal Voluminous in Carbon Black is the best!
foundation or concealer: concealer.. girlfriend has some serious under eye circles! I’m still looking for the best concealer.
neutral or color eye shadow: I’m a neutrals and golds/bronzes kinda girl.
pressed or loose eye shadows: pressed!
brushes or sponges: oh my word, brushes! I recently bought this amazing makeup applicator sponge though!

nails
OPI or china glaze: OPI
Long or short: can I say medium length?
Acrylic or natural: acrylic or gels!
Brights or darks: darks
Flower or no flower: no flower

body
perfume or body splash: I like to wear both at the same time.. For casual days, body spray. When I’m going out, perfume.
lotion or body butter: lotion.. I love Olay In Shower Body Lotion!
body wash or soap: Dove beauty bar soap
lush or other bath company: I’m a Victoria’s Secret girl!! Mmmm Love Spell!

jeans or sweat pants: jeans
long sleeve or short: depends on the weather!
dresses or skirts: dress
stripes or plaid: stripes
flip flops or sandals: sandals
scarves or hats: ohhh this is a toughy! Hats maybe?!
studs or dangly earrings: studs
necklaces or bracelets: I can’t pick, I want both!!
heels or flats: heels. Always.
cowboy boots or riding boots: love both!!! Riding if I have to pick.
jacket or hoodie: jacket. Hoodies just remind too much of high school. 
forever 21 or charlotte russe: FOREVER!!
abercombie or Hollister: neither?
saks 5th or nordstrom: Nordie’s

hair
curly or straight: straight is easier to keep curly than curly to keep straight!
bun or ponytail: both!! 
bobby pins or butterfly clips: butterfly clips? Holy 6th grade!
hair spray or gel: Aussie Instant Freeze Hair Spray!
long or short: LONG!
light or dark: Mix of the two 🙂
side sweep bangs or full bangs: side swept
up or down: down

Rain or shine: Shine!
Summer or winter: Always, ALWAYS summer!
Fall or spring: Fall maybe?
Chocolate or vanilla: Is there any question here? Chocolate, duh!
East coast or west coast: I’m a LA girl! West Coaster!

    I tried the loreal voluminous mascara in blackest black after reading a previous post because I have been searching for a good one for a while, but I found it clumped really bad to the point where I couldnt use it. Wondering if I bought the right one. It was a choice of collagen or 24hr?

      I use Voluminous Power Volume 24hr a lot but when it starts to get old, it clumps.. Take it back to the store for a refund or exchange if it's clumping because it shouldn't be doing that! My holy grail mascara though is just the classic L'oreal Voluminous in Carbon Black. It doesn't clump, it lengthens and separates. Try the classic! For the price, it's the very best mascara in my opinion! I used to also wear Diorshow for a long time as well. Hope this helps!

    I am impressed how well you did with "this or that"!! I am so indecisive, it would be embarrassing if I were try to do it! "both, both, and both".. Anyway, stumbled across your blog, and I love your style, beauty tips, and your down to earth writing! Oh and thanks for the tutorial about the lip sticks, you saved me $$$ and that is always good for the wallet….to buy more clothes. Now, update some more pretty pictures and outfits, love!

    Ok I will try to exchange it for the carbon black. I tried some of the e.l.f products for the first time as well and loved them. As well I thought the mac lipstick dupes were great. My daughters need particular colors for dance so it will save alot! Thanks for the blog love it!

    My favourite is mascara and concealer. I have terrible under eye circles and hate them!
    This post is great fun. I choose my "This or That". My answers was similar to yours. xo

    My new fave beauty item is LIP STAIN!! Have you ever tried them? I'm not really a big lipstick girl…but I LOVE my lip gloss! I never really liked the taste or thickness of lipstick, but I recently tried a few different lip stains and I LOVE THEM!!! Not only do they smell great but they taste great too! Plus they last forever (A major thumbs up in my book!). I just add my favorite lip gloss on top! I have used Covergirl Outlast Lip Stain in a few different shades and NYC brand as well. They have nude shades if you are scared of color girls! 🙂 Thanks for the wonderful makeup and fashion tips Angela! I love your blog! Keep up the great work!

    If you're looking for an amazing concealer you should try Arbonne's creme concealer, barely need to use any to get amazing coverage. I Couldn't go without it before and absolutely can't now with the wonderful bags under my eyes after having a baby who has me up all hours of the night!!

      I'm pretty sure I've tried Arbonne's concealer.. But it's been so long I can't be positive! I've been making up a mixture of about three of my favorite concealers lately trying to figure out what exactly I need in order to cover these awful bags! Thanks for reading! xo
