Valentine’s Day Banner DIY

Valentine’s Day Banner DIY

I know, I know.. It’s been a few days since I’ve updated my little bloggy. But, in my defense, this week has been INSANELY busy. I’m actually blogging from Georgia right now.
Anywho, a week ago or so, the amazing ladies over at Target Does It Again (whom I follow via Instagram!) posted this little Valentine’s banner..

So I went to Target on my lunch hour so I could see this banner with my own eyes and hold it in my hands.. And I realized that I could make one of my own at home so easy and to my own liking. So here’s What I used to make it:
– Felt in different colors
– Twine
– Yarn needle
– Scissors
– Permanent marker
– Heart cutout for tracing
(Please don’t mind the clothespins, I didn’t end up using them!)
I used a heart that I printed off of Google Images to be my guide. Then traced the heart shape onto pink, white and red felt.
I then used twine and a big yarn needle and sewed two stitches through the tops of each heart. I spaced out the hearts so that the hung just right over my kitchen sink.
I found this adorable heart shaped wreath for about $4.00 at Michael’s Craft Store. It’s hung by fishing line from the shutters. I love the banner and the wreath together! Hope you guys are all having a beautiful weekend!

Hi Angela! Have not heard from you of new posts))))) Today you are pleased with the very interesting stuff))))) Although we are in Russia and did not celebrate this holiday, but it was very interesting to read and see how much good your imagination. So simple and clear, but the main thing it came out very nice)))))) A small question: what makes you be so busy and fly across the country?))) You like Sportin or insurance agent))))
