Evermore Resort Review

Evermore Resort Review

We recently took a trip to Disney World and stayed at the Evermore Resort in Orlando, Florida. I’ve had a TON of requests for a review of where we stayed, so let’s break it down.

Where We Stayed

We stayed at the Evermore Resort which is not a Disney property, but it might as well be since it’s located so close to all four of the parks. The close proximity of the hotel made it so easy to navigate the massive Disney World area. The location is optimal for a Disney trip.

The property used to be the Grand Cypress Resort, but was recently sold and renovated.

When Did Evermore Resort Open?

According to their website, it officially opened on January 1, 2024, so we were among the first guests to stay on property. Evermore is a Hilton property along with the Conrad, which shares the same land and lagoon.

Is Evermore Resort A Walt Disney World Property?

No, but it might as well be with how close it’s located to the parks!

Would You Stay At Evermore Orlando Resort Again?

Absolutely! Here’s why…

We stayed in the flats, which are essentially a fully equipped home.

The unit we stayed in is positioned waterfront, with sweeping views of the stunning man-made lagoon which is truly a beach paradise.

Who knew you could have a beach vacation smack dab in the middle of Orlando, Florida?

The flats units have four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room and gorgeous balcony overlooking the bright blue water of Evermore Bay.

Each bedroom has a king bed with the exception of the bunk room, which is made up of three twin beds and one full sized bed. Ken was SO excited to sleep in the bunk beds. The bunk room was truly a kids dream room.

How cute are these cubbies from the bunk room? They had two sets with one cubby for each bed in the room.

The attached bathroom had a double sink, water closet, and gorgeous glassed in shower.

The decor was modern, with crisp white linen sheets on each bed.

The entire unit was spotless, as was the property in general. When you walked into our building, it had a fabulous scent that made it smell as clean as it actually was.

The resort itself offers so many amenities and multiple restaurants that it’s a vacation destination in and of itself.

What Did We Eat?

There are twelve different ways to dine at the resort. They offer four full service restaurants, five quick-service (grab and go) spots, and three bars and lounges.

We didn’t have the opportunity to try any of the full service options, but heard great things from other guests.

As for the food hall, we did try a few places…

Props pizza was just okay. Not bad, but I wouldn’t order again.

Craft Burgers was unreal. Their burgers and fries are absolutely fabulous. Five star hotel quality eats.

Sandhill Provisions sells chocolate chip cookies the size of your face and they are worth every single calorie.

Barbara Ann’s Beach Bar was our absolute favorite restaurant on site. They serve food and drinks beach and pool side during their operating hours.

Favorites for us from the beach bar were the Cuban sandwich, french fries, nachos, and Kenny loved their giant hot pretzels!

What Did We Do?

Make sure to download the Evermore app before you arrive to check out all of the different activities they have planned daily. They offer various exercise classes, kids entertainment, and so much more.

Ken loved their candy sushi making class. She also attended a Disney sing-along around the campfire with s’mores. She loved making her own s’mores over the campfire while singing her favorite Frozen songs along with other kids.

They had something fun for kids to do every single day. Most of the days they even offered multiple kids events.

Another favorite for Kenny girl was the hair wrap stand located right on the sand. They also offered colorful tattoos, which every child loves.

A super fun amenity that they offered is family board games delivered to your room. We asked for some games and came back to Monopoly, Jenga, and more. MacKenlee was so excited!

Grand Cypress Golf Course is a gorgeous Jack Nicklaus designed course. The golf course is located within the gates of the Evermore. If you have a golfer in your travel group, then the’ll love this added bonus to the property.

Sadly, we didn’t have enough time for Matt to schedule a tee time, but he was majorly itching to get out there and swing a gold club around.

Besides golf, the lagoon is truly breathtaking. You can go paddle boarding, canoeing, or swimming in the lagoon, or check out the resort pools. Kids love the huge pool slide and rope swing that allows you to jump into the lagoon.

Should the four bedroom flats be too large for your family, they also offer two bedroom villas or one bedroom rooms at the Conrad Hotel.

If you are on the hunt for a vacation home for your next Walt Disney World trip, be sure to check out the Evermore because we absolutely loved our time there.

  • Awesome review! We will have to check this out on our next trip.
How was the drive from resort to the parks? Was the lagoon warm enough to swim in?

    Thanks!
(We missed seeing you there by 2 weeks! We went to celebrate our girl’s 7th birthday)
