I apologize for the lack of blog posts this week, it’s been a busy one. In the past seven days, we’ve been in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, San Diego and Santa Barbara. That’s a lot of Southern California in a short amount of time! I still have several looks to post from our shoots last weekend in the desert (and full intended on posting all of them this week, sorry!) Honestly, this past week has flown by. Like light speed flown by, and my head is spinning! Why is it that the older I get, the faster time goes? It doesn’t seem fair!
I’ve had this sweet little trapeze dress hanging in my closet for quite a while and just never seemed to find the right occasion to wear it. The desert was absolutely the right choice. It’s made from a super soft fabric and comes in five different colors. The embroidered neckline adds a nice feminine touch to the design.
- Tweezers. I never realized how key a great pair of tweezers is to your beauty regimen until I was stuck with a terrible pair while traveling. I’m very picky about my tweezers. I received a pair of ArteStile tweezers in a gift bag a few years ago and they are my all time faves. They are a super reasonable (under $20) Italian brand and I have yet to find another brand that compares. Even Tweezerman can’t hold a candle to them in my opinion.
- Shop My Looks. Ever want to know what I’m wearing on my Instagram, SnapChat, Facebook, etc. without signing up for emails via LiketoKnow.it or waiting for a response from me? Now you can shop it all in one place without jumping through any hoops! All you have to do is click “Shop My Looks” in my menu bar (just look at the top of my website!) and all of my recent photos are in one place with everything I’m wearing linked and ready to shop! Love that I’m able to make shopping my outfits or makeup so incredibly easy for my followers. 🙂
- Landeau Flowers. The Landeau Floral team sent me the most gorgeous floral arrangement this week. Having fresh flowers in the house is a must for me. I always keep a small arrangement of roses in my kitchen because they make me smile every time I walk in the room. My Landeau roses have me totally spoiled because they are beyond any other arrangement I’ve ever seen. They are expanding to the LA market, so if you’re in NYC or LA, be sure to check them out!
- Spring Pajamas. I’ve always been a fan of satin. I love the silkiness of the fabric and enjoy how luxurious the fabric feels against your skin. I ordered these pjs this past week and they immediately became my favorite pair I own.
- Tory Burch Sale. My very favorite sale all year (besides Nordstrom!) is Tory Burch Sales. This one is 30% off basically everything and ends on 4/25. I’m going to try my darndest to get a sale picks post up for you in time. In case I don’t though, I’m probably ordering these wedges for Spring.
- Beautyblender Cleanser. I feel like I’ve talked about this product a million times, but I somehow keep getting questions about what I use to clean my beautyblender and brushes. I use the beautyblender solid to clean both and it seriously does an awesome job. It’s the one product that gets everything out and does so, fast.
