Woohoo! It is officially Spring! Time to break out the pastels, baby. This look is a spring in LA look with all the skin I’m showing. Spring in Ohio never really calls for anything less than a lighter coat or jacket than the last several weeks of wintertime. I love this look because it’s casual enough to wear with your favorite pair of flats or sneaker (hello Converse!) but still sexy with the fitted skirt and cropped top. Forever 21 posted this look on their Instagram account of me a couple of days ago and I couldn’t help but laugh at all the “curvy” comments I received. It’s crazy to me that a size 2 girl is considered curvy in the world of social media. I took that to mean that I look healthy, and to me healthy is always a good thing!
I’m currently in Vancouver visiting Matt while he films his latest project, Time, a pilot for NBC. This past week has been an absolute whirlwind… I flew up to Seattle last weekend on Saturday morning and Matty drove down from Vancouver, so we could spend approximately 36 hours together. Sunday evening I flew back home to LA. Some time between Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon, I shot blog photos with a new, and very fabulous photographer, filmed several YouTube videos (one is going up tomorrow, fingers crossed!) and prepped my house. Tuesday two of my very favorite blogger babes arrived for a visit and I had the privilege of giving them a quick tour of LA before they headed down to San Diego on Thursday. Wednesday night, I took Megan, John (Megan’s hubby) and Mckenna to the most fabulous beautyblender event, which I hope you caught on my Snapchat (@angelalanter). Thursday evening I had the honor of hosting an amazing event at Neiman Marcus CUSP in Beverly Hills with three lovely ladies. Then Friday morning, Soka and I headed up to Vancouver to spend a week with my hubby. So if I have seemed a little MIA this past week, it’s probably because I was literally all over the place.
