Activated Charcoal isn’t exactly what I would typically reach for when thinking about white teeth. After using Crest White Strips for years, my gums have become super sensitive to basically all forms of teeth whitening products. I’ve seen activated charcoal pins all over Pinterest, but never paid much attention to it until just recently. I asked my dental office about charcoal and they felt like as long as it wasn’t something I was using on an everyday basis, why not give it a whirl?
Watch this video to see before and after photos, and my full review of my experience whitening my teeth using only activated charcoal. If you have any qualms about trying out this beauty hack, be sure to discuss this treatment with your dentist.
I thought this was a really fun video to film and hack to try. What do you think? Should I make a beauty and/or Pinterest hack series on my YouTube channel where I test out all sorts of hacks? I love finding new hacks that really do work and make my life a little easier and healthier. I love anything that can potentially replace a product or ritual with something more natural, like whitening your teeth naturally!
