Your makeup and beauty routine should change along with the seasons. The weather conditions constantly affect our bodies and our skin. Colder temperatures means dryer skin and hair, humidity means unruly curls and shiny faces… You get the picture. Sometimes the weather works in our favor, other times, not so much.
Winter causes my skin to appear dry and dull. I have to change up my entire beauty routine during these colder months to make my skin appear brighter and healthier than it really is. You know what they say… Fake it till you make it. In this case, I’m showing you my favorite tips and products to create that healthy, dewy look we all crave year round but have a hard time achieving when we’re living in the land of winter. Basically, this video includes the steps I use to get the glowiest, healthiest looking skin possible.
Why am I so caught up on glowy skin? Because glowy, dewy skin is automatically associated to health and youthfulness. Think about a child’s skin, it’s beautiful, flawless and they have rosy cheeks, right? Unfortunately, some time between being a toddler and our 20’s we start to lose that youthful glow. A good skincare regimen (see my morning skincare regimen here) is key in keeping your skin healthy, but this video gives you some tips on getting the most out of your foundation.
