Have you ever wished while you were shopping that you had someone that could make the process easier? I think we’ve all been there before. Recently, I was in need of the perfect cocktail dress for an event that I was attending, but didn’t have a lot of time to spend searching store after store for it. I realized that this was the perfect time to test out Macy’s MyStylist program.
Macy’s MyStylist is a free service that makes shopping a breeze. I simply requested an appointment online and someone from Macy’s was in touch with me via email by the next day and scheduled an appointment at my local Macy’s store. Before going in, I had a quick phone call with my assigned stylist, Sharon, and she got all of the information she needed from me such as sizes, event type and my style preferences. When I went in for my appointment at Macy’s two days later, I was greeted by Sharon and taken to a private fitting room with a rack of dresses already pulled for me according to my size and styles we had discussed.
I love this dress from Adrianna Papell. It wasn’t quite the look I was going for this event, but such a fabulous piece!
I’m loving shirt dresses for fall and was totally obsessed with this one, but it wasn’t the style that I had in mind for this particular event.
The stylist also pulled shoe and handbag options as well, so you can create an entire look at once, which I loved! How amazing are these Michael Kors ankle strap heels?
I had some amazing dresses to choose from, but this little black dress by French Connection stole the show for me. I love the jeweled neckline, chic design and the fit is amazing. I decided to go with simple black t-strap sandals from Chinese Laundry and a basic black clutch I already owned to keep the dress the hero piece of this look. This dress makes me feel very Audrey Hepburn, and I love it!
