Sadly, our time in Mobile, AL is coming to an end. Can you believe that we’ve already been here for 6 weeks?! The past month and a half has seriously flown by! We’re heading out on Wednesday for a much needed vacation and I can’t wait to share where we’re heading next with y’all! This weekend, I wanted to take in the local sites as much as possible. Saturday we spent the afternoon in Downtown Fairhope and it was positively charming. The shops are to die for! If you’re out this way, be sure to stop in for a lovely stroll through the local boutiques and stop in the Fairhope French Quarter, it’s just so lovely.
Last weekend, Matt & I just wanted to get away for a weekend of relaxation, so we snuck off to the beautiful Grand Hotel in Point Clear and had a great time. We enjoyed the spa and loved sitting on the swings overlooking the bay as the sun set.
You have already seen these darling shorts on my Instagram last week as we toured the USS Drum Submarine. I love them so much, that I already had to wear them again! I love the fit because they sit higher on the waist, which helps to create the illusion of the slimmer waist and fuller hips. I especially love the vintage design! I feel like these shorts are something my Mawmaw would’ve worn on a hot summer day in 1940’s Tennessee! I really love the periwinkle color, but the black and white print truly is just as darling. These shorts are too sweet to pass up, so be sure to grab a pair before they’re sold out!
