VIDEO: WalMart Beauty Haul

You probably already know, but I’m spending the week in my hometown, Akron, Ohio.  The weather has been insane this week with multiple tornado warnings, sever thunderstorms, hail, all that good stuff.  Yesterday afternoon, we braved the weather and made a WalMart run so of course I had to browse the makeup aisles…  And I found some beauty treasures!  I haven’t been to WalMart since we moved back to LA from New Orleans!  Watch my latest video below to hear all about the products I picked out and what I thought about them!
PS- I literally ran home from the store and tried out all the products right before filming this video lol!

    Hope you are having a good time back in Ohio, im really liking your make up in this video!! Its my birthday on wednesday and im getting people asking what gifts i want (im leaving it a bit late woops) but i want to get one of the naked palettes and just wondering what do you think is the best one? Also when you use your contorting what do you recommend to put under the eyes and to make the area lighter, i am quite pale skin so finding a lighter foundation that you can notice is quite hard any recommendations? xx

      Happy early Birthday, Jemma! I would suggest Naked 3 for this time of year (Spring/Summer!) plus you'er fairer complected. I really love the L'Oreal highlighting concealer that I talk about in my Drugstore Dupes video- it's a really great way to brighten up the under eye area! xo

    LOVE this!!! Question though, and you might have already covered this somewhere else and I just missed it.. but how do you know what shades to get for highlighting and contouring???

      Thanks Kelly! HAC colors depend on your skin tone.. For highlighting, I would suggest a color lighter AND brighter than your usual concealer (maybe about 2 shades lighter than your natural skin color) and for contouring I suggest going about one shade darker than your usual bronzer color. Then trick is blending! Go somewhere that you have access to samples before purchasing so you're not stuck with the wrong colors- like a makeup counter, Ulta, Sephora, etc. I hope this helps! xo

    Thank you for reviewing the Flower make up line. I recently saw it at Wal-Mart and was wondering if it was any good. Now I'm going to have to try it out–if you have any more reviews on Flower (specifically their foundation), I would love to hear them.

    I may have missed this in your other videos but if that mascara is just "ok". What Walmart/drugstore mascara would u recommend i've been disappointed with a lot that i have bought recently.
