That eyeshadow palette is awesome and so are the blushes! Your face is flawless.

You're just saying that because you love me! xo

Hey πŸ™‚ Great Tutorial…the only thing with me is that I have dark skin and therefore its hard for me to find make-up that would go with my skin colour but you make putting make-up on looks so easy πŸ˜€

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading and I'm hoping you find the makeup that's perfect for you!! xo

Angela this is a great video! Was it filmed with a Canon 5D ? (sorry, the film maker inside of me needs to know πŸ™‚
Ah, I feel so bad because I probably don't use enough makeup.. It takes me like 4 minutes to put make up on each day haha πŸ™‚
You make it look easy! Thanks for the video!

    • Angela Lanter

Hi Iris!! Yes, he used a Canon 5D Mark III. Don't let the length of this video fool you, I normaly do that routine in under 5 minutes lol!

Hi, Angela! I have no words, I've been waiting for, when you finally do your first video! It's just amazing)))) you are done, thank you very much for this post. But can I just say a little bit of negativity (sorry in advance), but I did not like quite a bit in your video – you held hands below the camera and I could not see your manipulation of your makeup and brushes (I ask you to do a post about a brush) and you have a very quickly showed the front of the camera make-up and I just could not see it all the better. It's all my negative comments, BUT everything else is fantastic.)))) you are very cleverly played with all the beauty tricks))))
So my request is, or rather it would be two of my requests – Show your everyday make-up cosmetics only with MAC (you know, I'm the number one fan of all proceeds from this cosmetic brand), and – Show me how you think to make a stunning evening make-up with red lipstick or just a nice smoky eyes
    Thanks in advance))))

Hi Ekaterina! I'm so glad you liked it! It was my first video tutorial so I'm sure I'll get better the more I do πŸ™‚ So I love MAC too but there are certain products of theirs I don't use because I don't like it- I don't like their concealers, mascaras or bronzers. I'll be using more MAC products in future tutorials though! And I'll definitely do a smoky eye too!

  • I LOVE the video! So simple, yet so beautiful! When I was in this mall in Norway, I was by the Bobbi Brown section in the beauty section, and this woman who worked in Bobbi Brown section showed me how to do my makeup and she did something called " instantly pretty" i think, if i remember correct. But my point was, Bobbi Browns brushes was by far very soft brushes! I really recomend the Bobbi Brown's but also brushes from Sigma! Im waiting for mine to arrive, because they're not avaible in Norway, but from what I've heard, their amazing!

Thank you for you tutorial! Maybe you could show some of your favorite items from your closet and show what items you like to mix! I definitly like the rock/hipster but still classy style, maybe you show some items that could have fitted for that kind of style! Would have appreciated that
    XX Erna

Bobbi Brown brushes are seriously amazing!! I haven't tried Sigma brand brushes but I've heard great things about them. The favorite items is a great idea, thanks! Thanks for reading! xo

  • Ajla R.

Hi, Angela.. I really really enjoyed the tutorial.. I have dark circles under the eyes, too, and I really needed some advice on how to cover them up. I use so much concealer, and sometimes it just looks odd because I have a dark skin tone, which creates a huge contrast to the concealer under the eyes.. you probably know what I mean πŸ˜‰
Anyway, I loved the video, you're such a beautiful lady, and I'd like to see more tutorials from you. I would especially love to see some tutorials for a red carpet event (you are no stranger to those πŸ˜‰ )..

    xoxo Ajla

    • Angela Lanter

Hi Ajla! If you haven't already tried a yellow concealer, give that a try. It really helps to neutralize those dark circles! I'll definitely be putting together some more videos! Thanks for reading! xo

Thank you so much for posting a video such as this! I came across this video and it has been a life saver. I never have been good with trying different make up looks in fear of looking like a clown! haha I watched this tutorial and purchased the make-up that you spoke about in the Ulta haul (the NYX makeup, which is fantastic!) and tried my make-up and for the first time in a really long time I felt pretty. I was able to figure out how to hide my dark circles and give myself some color without looking unnatural and actually got several compliments on my make up! Thank you so much for posting videos like this!

    • AngelaLanter

Yay!! I'm so glad! I hope you continue to feel gorgeous! πŸ™‚

    Hi from Germany! πŸ™‚
I'm so happy that I've found your page !!
    It's a great Video!
My only problem is that my face always shines. Even when I'm wearing make-up (I use Dior)!
And my face is often red like a strawberry. Haha! Especially when it's much to warm outside.
I hope you have some tips for me! (or a new video about that) That would be incredible!! πŸ™‚

(Sorry for bad Englisch. I've given my best! πŸ™‚ xx Anni

      * Sorry for MY bad english.
      ..Starts well πŸ˜€

    • AngelaLanter

Hi Anni! Have you tried a translucent powder to set your foundation? I like to carry a translucent blotting powder (my favorite brand is Cover FX) and blot throughout the day to control any shine that might appear. I hope this helps! xo
