Lace-up shoes are literally everywhere this spring. This trend has been hot now for awhile and honestly, I don’t see it coming to an end any time soon. I did a little online shopping for you, and rounded up 11 pairs of hot lace-up shoes for you to shop for spring and summer. I already own pair one, and styled them last summer in this blog post. They are incredibly comfortable and held up well enough to look brand new for this year’s wear. If you love this trend, but are concerned about comfort, I’d highly recommend a wedge heel like pairs one or four. I have a pair of lace-up pointy toed heels, the Raela by Steve Madden in nude, and have only ever worn them once. They are beautiful on, but hurt my feet. I’m telling ya, the older I get, the more important comfy shoes are to me.
Speaking of comfy shoes, and totally off topic from the lace-up trend, my M.Gemi flats (the Felize) are still the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever put on my feet. They’re even more comfy than sneakers! Matt calls them my grandma shoes, and I don’t even care. I think they’re adorable and the pinky-beige shade (mine are in the shade, “Natural”) I chose goes with just about any casual look I throw together. If you’re in the market for a new pair of comfy flats, I highly recommend these shoes. They are so good, I’d pay double the money for them!
one: Rodillo Wedge Sandals (available in nude) // two: Gold Gladiator Sandal (available in four colors) // three: Peep Toe Sandal (available in six colors) // four: Wedge Lace-Up Espadrille Sandal (available in three colors) // five: Lace-Up Sandal (available in three colors) // six: Hera Sandal (also comes in taupe suede) // seven: Abri Pointy Toe Flat (available in three colors) // eight: Tassled Lace-up Sandal (available in three colors) // nine: Journie Fringe Sandals (also comes in tan) // ten: Lace Up Sandals // eleven: Dayna Pumps
I bought the Felize (in the suede material) after you posted about them, and you are SO right! They are the most comfortable shoes, and I wear them as much as I can. I travel a lot for work, and they are great to wear walking through airports and on the plane. Thanks for posting about them. I never would have known they existed otherwise!
