I’m such a girly girl. My taste can be summed up in only a few words and a couple of those would be: lace, bows, peplum, sparkle… And I somehow managed to get all of those fashion details into one look. Basically, I’m in love with this outfit.
The lace detail on these sleeves… Oh. My. Word! I love how soft and simple this top is in the first place, but then you throw in the gorgeous lace sleeves and I’m just about dead. This top pairs beautifully with the peplum tweed skirt, but it really is incredibly versatile. I plan on pairing it with a great pair of high waist jeans or dress slacks for a feminine business look.
This peplum tweed skirt fits fabulously. I wear a US size 26 in jeans, and as you can see, the size Small fits perfectly. It does hit higher on the waist which makes for a shorter skirt. If you have as long of legs as I do (32-33″ inseam) this skirt is a little too short for business settings in my opinion. I think if you sized up, you would get a longer skirt with a not so high waist, just a tip if you’re looking for some new office ready pieces.
