When I think about New Years Eve fashion, I think sparkles, sequins and flashy colors. I love all of those things, but not every girl wants to be shiny and bright. I love the idea of a more natural, Bohemian formal look to bring in the New Year. This stunning lacy dress from Free People was screaming my name while I was shopping at Macy’s earlier this week. The long style with a high turtleneck reminds me so much of a Victorian wedding dress and I felt positively regal while wearing it.
Because this dress is so flowy and such a natural shade, heels weren’t the right fit for this look. I chose to go with these fringe booties in “Tobacco” because the colors meshed so well. These boots are more of an olive green color in person than the photos show, and I loved that! Olive green footwear can be hard to come by, so I loved the idea for this look.
Sizing Info: Wearing Free People maxi dress in XS (runs long) and boots in US size 7.
