The first summer holiday of the year is upon us! Yipee!! I love Memorial Day Weekend. It’s such a great excuse to hang out with friends and family, have a beach weekend, eat good food… Take part in all the summer fun essential activities!
This dress screams summer picnic. This darling little sundress is the perfect color combination for this time of year. The pink/nude and white play together so nicely, but it also comes in the classic navy blue and white stripe combo as well. I love that the straps are adjustable, because I have the shortest torso and everything tends to be too low cut or long on me. This dress fits me perfectly because of the adjustable straps though. I also love the skater dress style cut. Full skirts, like this one, are so figure flattering because they really help to trick the eye into seeing a full skirt, which makes you waist seem so tiny… And who doesn’t love a tiny waist?
Let’s talk shoes real quick. I’m really loving wedges this season, I think mostly because they tend to be much comfier than heels. I’ve had a hard time in the past finding the perfect pair of nude wedges, so I was thrilled when I found this pair by Steve Madden. They’re not only the perfect shade of nude, but also extremely comfortable for the tootsies!
