OOTD: Yoga For Beginners

The question I get asked the most from my readers is what I do to stay in shape.  I wish I had an awesome answer for you guys.  The truth is, I have commitment issues.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the feeling you get after a great workout…  This insane feeling of accomplishment and just feeling proud of yourself.  My biggest problem is my schedule.
My favorite ways to get a work out in is yoga, Pilates, walking and hiking.  I really love yoga, especially hot yoga.  I’m just starting to get back into the swing of it, so I thought I’d share with you a few photos of me starting back into my routine and my cute little workout outfit!
I really love this outfit… It’s so darn comfy and perfect for a good workout!  I always go with a tank and leggings for yoga.  I like formfitting clothes when I’m working out as opposed to looser clothing.
What I’m Wearing:
Tank – c/o Lucy
Tights – c/o Lucy
Cowl Workout Top – c/o Lucy

Hi! I like watching yoga videos on YouTube or looking up yoga positions on Pinterest. Give that a try 🙂

If you enjoy yoga I have a friend who is a yoga instructor and a christian and she started writing an awesome spiritual blog Jenmcgown.com you might enjoy it. Have you you ever incorporated Soka into your yoga routine?

      I haven't! I prefer taking hot yoga classes 🙂

You look so good without any makeup on 🙂 lucky lucky girl!
Ftiness is one of my biggest passions, and I work out very much – mainly strength training because because it's more fun than cardio, in my opinion 🙂 However, I have to incorporate a bit of cardio in my schedule, which I do (I run 2-3 days a week) because right now I have some weight to lose. But for a long time I've considered attending some yoga classes just to try something new.

Haha thanks, Alja! I definitely don't think so!
Wow, you're on it! I wish I was dedicated to a solid fitness routine!

So you're one of those girls who just naturally stays thin! Lucky duck, I was like that as a teenager and then I turned 18 haha. You must be a really healthy eater then or have a very fast matablism? Why not share a typical day's food with readers? We'd love to know what you eat on a day to day basis, because maybe that is the trick to your body!

I am… I've been that way my whole life, and both of my parents are as well. I know it has to do with my metabolism, plus I try to watch what I eat. Not so much the food itself as much as I try to watch the portion sizes. I don't like feeling like I'm punishing myself by not eating what I want to eat all the time.

When I see this then it makes me more clear, again that I actually should be now outside for jogging 🙂 My Boyfriend is in gym and you wirte about your sports. Definitely I need again a goal to motivate myself. I am not a big fan of sports that my problem.
It would be great when you would share your favorit food ideas with us.

I hate jogging! I've always wanted to be a runner, but it's just not my jam. I love to eat lots of fruits and veggies! I try to always make sure there's something green on my plate each meal!

I couldn't agree more, Angie! I have problems with my schedule too but since I've experienced some health issues lately, I decided to get back to yoga no matter what. The feeling of being flexible and strong (you know what I mean, right?) is unbeatable. Thank god it's spring already, I can't wait to do yoga outside as well! 🙂 Have a great week! 🙂
