Hi Allison! I'll have to check into those products! I've not used charcoal based products before (that I know of) but I have recently started using MAC volcanic ash exfoliator, and I'm not a fan of it. Thanks for reading! xo

Hi Angela, I think that shade of pink suits you and looked great! Have you tried the Maybelline color tattoo eyeshadows? I love them and would love to know what you think of that range (maybe an eye makeup tutorial?) Thank you and as always loving your blog 🙂

Hey Angela. I just recently started following you and love your blogs. Just this year I started really getting into make-up and dressing more girly and was wondering if you had any suggestions on easy to do looks that look awesome but don't require too much experience to do. Also I'm not much of a Pink girl but am slowly trying to integrate it into my wardrobe/collection any suggestions on how to make the transition easier?

Hi Sarah! I'm so happy that you like Hello Gorgeous!! Okay, an easy beauty transition is to use earth toned and metallic toned eye products, copper/peach blushes and nude lip colors. These aren't even close to pink, so you should be more comfortable using earthy colors to start with 🙂 In regards to fashion, I really suggest visiting colormebeautiful.com and finding out what season you are. Once you know your season, choose the colors within that range that you like the most and make you feel the most comfortable (they'll be the most flattering for your skin tone if they're in your season!) And lastly, only do and wear what makes you feel comfortable.. You look your best when you feel your best. If you hate the color pink, you won't feel good wearing it, so don't! Wear the colors you love in fashionable pieces and you'll feel and look your absolute best! I hope this helps! Thanks for reading! xo
PS- I almost never wear the color red and rarely wear pink because I don't like the way they look on me.. I love blues and black though. You don't have to wear pink or girly-girl pieces to look and feel feminine 🙂

The lipstick I use all the time is the Revlon Super Lustrous Carmel Glace (#103), but it says pearl, so I assume that's the finish vs. the matte finish you tried. I really like the pearl – it doesn't dry my lips at all.

Hi Jen! I've not tried a pearl finish lipstick from Revlon that I can recall, so maybe I'll try that kind next time. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hello Angela! I was wondering if you could do a post addressing products/brands that are now using charcoal. I know Biore & Garnier both recently introduced products that have charcoal in them & I want to know what makes using charcoal special. For example, I know Biore has a charcoal face mask & I want to know what it does differently compared to other face masks.
