Happy 2014 Gorgeous!
I hope your New Years Eve was spectacular and that you kissed your prince charming at midnight 🙂 Some of us stayed home and had a quiet evening in watching the ball drop, others went out and partied their way into 2014. I like celebrating both ways for different reasons. This year, I had lots of fun ringing in the New Year with my husband and friends. We got all gussied up and went out on the town!

Today I’m sharing with you my makeup look from last night. I’m such a golden girl (as in eye makeup, not age.. Although I do still love to watch reruns of that show!) and NYE is no time to part ways with your love for anything glitzy, sparkly or metallic. In fact, this is the one time of year you should completely embrace it with everything you’ve got! I did a little layering of shadows to get the right shades and blended my little ole heart out.
For a nice gold touch, I experimented with my new Em Rose Gold Waterliner.. And I fell head over sparkly-toes for it! I use the water lining technique all the time, but it almost always smudges (at least a little bit.) I’m promising you, this is the best liner formula I’ve ever used. It stays where you put it and it doesn’t budge even a single tiny bit. I’ve always been a fan of Michelle Phan, but now I love her that much more for making a waterliner so fantastic!
