I had seen a recipe for skillet lasagna over at Plain Chicken awhile ago and I’ve been dying to try it ever since. This is my new favorite lasagna recipe. It’s the perfect quick dinner after a long day and so easy to make!
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. sausage
8 oz. pasta (I used small rotini)
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 24 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2/3 cup cottage cheese
Instructions:
Cook your pasta according to the directions. Brown your beef and sausage. Drain fat from meat. Add in garlic and cook for 30 seconds or so. Add in spaghetti sauce, basil, mozzarella and cottage cheese. Stir together and add in cooked pasta. Simmer for about 10 minutes. I doubled the recipe and I’m so glad I did.. This will make great leftovers!
