Blue Smokey Eye Tutorial

I’ve always shied away from blue and purple shades when it comes to eyeshadow because of my terrible dark circles.  I knew those shades would only maximize the purple circles under my eyes…  That was before I learned the art of color correcting.  If you don’t understand what I mean about that, watch this video I did last year all about covering your dark circles.  When I’m able to correct the dark circles, I find that I have more ability to play with color that I would otherwise be afraid to.

Smokey eye makeup is a classic look that anyone can create in any color.  If you are a beginner with makeup, a single color smokey eye is a great place to begin.  You learn the key to eye makeup with this technique: blending.  But to take it one step further, you need to remember to blend with a clean brush.  A clean blending brush makes all the difference in the world!
