13 Current Pink Faves for Spring

13 Current Pink Faves for Spring

With Valentine’s Day right behind us and Spring right around the corner, it seemed like the perfect time to indulge in some pink frivolities. ?

Pink Picks Angela Lanter Hello Gorgeous

  1.  Hunter Original Boots  2.  Tory Burch Ballet Flats  3.  Tory Burch Clutch  4.  Diptyque Rosa Mundi Candle  5.  Bow Off-the-Shoulder Top  6.  Pink Sneakers (YASSSS)  7.  MAC Lipstick and Liner Duo  8.  Cold Shoulder Pink Top  9.  Tutu Tulle Skirt  10.  Floral Leather Tote  11.  Mini Skirt  12.  Cross Front Tee (Under $30!)  13.  Sam Edelman Hot Pink Pumps

A few of these items are priced really reasonably, which makes them great pre-Spring purchases!  The Hunter boots and Tory Burch ballet flats are higher priced items, but I personally own both pairs of these shoes and the quality is fantastic.

Speaking of higher priced items…  What do you think about me doing a series about my higher end purchases?  I would review the items/purchases and giving you the full, 100% truth on my purchase experience, the product itself and let you know if I felt that it was worth the money?  I personally like to do research before making a bigger purchase but I’m wondering if this is something you would also like?  Please leave a comment below and let me know if you A) like this idea and would be interested in me doing it and B) if you would prefer that I do it on YouTube or on the blog.

I love getting feedback from y’all.  Hearing what you’d like to see more or less of on Hello Gorgeous helps me form future content (blog posts, social media posts and YouTube videos).  Your comments ensure that I’m doing exactly what my Gorgeous Girls want to see.  ❤️

  • Yes yes yes on the high end review! I am coming to the point in life where I don’t care abilout labels anymore but do prefer the quality of Michael Kors or Coach over cheaper items when it comes to handbags and such. I too feel the need to research and review before I spend that kind of money so I would LOVE to hear about your opinions. The pink high heels in the post weren’t mentioned either. Love your blog and your videos. I read the blog more than the you tube (I mostly read it at work 😉

    • Angela Lanter

I definitely notice a difference in quality for high end handbags, shoes and some clothing (like coats/jackets). Otherwise, I’m all about saving $$$! Ahh Thank you for pointing out the heels! ?

      • No prob! I figured someone would want to know where you got them! Yes for sure on handbags. I am in the Navy so I have to be very selective on the kind of purse I carry. I bought a Michael Kors black, simple bag two years ago and I carry it every day. There is literally nothing wrong with it but the normal wear and tear on the bottom. No way would a target purse have lasted that long. Love your blog!

I bought my MK Hamilton bag about two years ago and have used it a TON while traveling and it stills looks brand new. The quality is fab! You really do get what you pay for sometimes. 🙂

Yesss I would love to see a YouTube video on your higher end purchases!!

    • Angela Lanter

      Thanks for the feedback! ?

Hey Angela, would love to see youtube videos on your reviews of higher priced items but I have another request or suggestion. I would love to hear more of what you have to say about procedures you have had at the dermatologist and if you felt you got results. I have had fraxel twice and a and photo facial twice. I loved how the photo facial had my skin looking. I’m kinda up in the air about fraxel. Maybe I needed to do it more to get results that I wanted. I remember you posted a video after having fraxel in Vancouver. Also would you ever have injections? That’s actually a pretty personal question because most people dont want you to know that they’ve had injections. I’ve often wondered if there are injections that go unoticed. THe thought of having an injection is scary. I dont want to scare people away!!!!!! Anyway, its just a thought. Thanks for all your fun posts and the ones that get down to the nitty gritty!

        • Angela Lanter

Thanks Carroll! My derm office has wanted me to partner with them and do some content regarding different treatments I’ve done (fraxel, peels, etc.) so this is something I’ve definitely thought about, I just can’t seem to stay in one place long enough to get it scheduled lol! Love this idea!!

  • Being a SoCal transplant in Seattle, I like the pink boots! Some fancy + function is always a boost ?? I also like the idea of a high end review! It helps to get an honest opinion from someone before I decide to spend extra $$ on something! ❤

    • Angela Lanter

I’m such a Hunter fan! I have two pairs and so many pairs of the boot socks. Thanks for your feedback, Alicia! ?

Hey Angela – that sounds great. That’s what we all need…someone who knows what they’re talking about, knows the products & tells the absolute truth telling us what we need to know to make a worthwile purchase ?

  • Yes on the high end reviews!!! I’d like to see it on YouTube, personally. ? Also, could you do an in-depth skincare routine? I know you’ve talked about some struggles since going off of birth control and I also struggle with acne (way more than you! Haha) so I’d love to hear what you use, what your dermatologist has shared with you, etc!

    • Angela Lanter

Thanks Rachel! I do need to do an updated skincare routine, for sure! I keep switching products around trying to figure out what works for me and what needs to go. 🙂

    • Magdalena

I’d also love to see some/read something about the battle with acne! And how to cover it best 🙂

      • Angela Lanter

I’m thinking that an updated skincare routine after birth control video would be best?!

  • I love the idea of reviews of higher end purchases. Now that I’m 30 I am far more interested in investing in say a pair of boots that cost a couple hundred dollars and are comfortable and will last than the $50 pair that hurt my feet and tear up. I would love to see a series like that on the blog because it would make it easier to come back to and reference when I’m ready to purchase the specific type of item you might review.

You may have a post on this but I’d love a post about your favorite face masks. I recently did my first one and really enjoyed it and would like ideas for other ones to try out! I’m trying to be better about taking care of my skin but honestly as far as a routine I don’t even know where to start. So some kind of newbies guide to skincare would be a fun post too!

    • Angela Lanter

I absolutely agree! There is such a difference in a pair of heels from Forever 21 and a more expensive pair from Nordstrom comfort-wise. I won’t even buy shoes at F21 anymore because every pair I’ve purchase have literally torn my feet apart.

In regards to the face masks, are you interested in all masks including sheet masks?

      xoxo

  • Sam Skelton

Hi Angela, Sam here from Writer’sWire. Yes! I’d love to see you do a review of your higher end products! I’d personally like to see it in a Youtube video so you can get a little more in depth + your videos rock!
Also, I’m curious how do you make these graphics? Photoshop?
    Loved this post!

    • Angela Lanter

Thanks for the feedback, Sam! So helpful.

Usually we make these in Photoshop, but I prefer PS Elements. 🙂

      xo

  • Vivianne

Oh my gosh yes!! It’s hard to start out in a new career, not making a lot but wanting to buy nicer things. Especially knowing what is worth it and what isn’t! I looooove your youtube videos and would personally prefer that but will take your advice any way I can haha. Would you mind also including good dupes for the higher end items that you review?

Thanks for all you do Angie!

    • Angela Lanter

Thanks for the input, Vivianne!! I mayyyyy have a new YouTube series coming very soon!! ?

  • Brittany Blackburn

I love the higher end purchases series idea! I don’t have a preference where it’s done!

Oops! You already posted your nightly routine! So instead, how about how you did your eye makeup in Full Face Foundation Routine For Dewy Skin?

      • Angela Lanter

I’m thinking I should keep my nightly routines updated from time-to-time especially since products and routines change with the seasons and every move we make! ?

    • Angela Lanter

Thanks so much for your feedback and these video ideas!

I can’t wait to share our new home, but it’ll be quite some time now that we’re in Atlanta and have to put a hold on decorating until Matt wraps PP3. ?

    Hi, Angela!

Yes!I would love to listen or read your reviews on higher end purchases! A YouTube video on your reviews would be fun to watch. 🙂

    Have a great week!

  • Michelle Johnson

    Hi Angela!!

Yes, I would love to see that kind of post and my preference is on the blog but of course will watch if you choose to do it on YouTube!

    • Angela Lanter

Thanks, Michelle! I think YouTube is sounding like the overall winner, based on all of these comments. ?

  • Hi Angela i hope you had a nice week end
i would love to read your reviews on higher end purchases ! ill be selfish and say i d prefer if you post it on the blog, because i have a problem with my laptop and i dont have the sound anymore so i cant use youtube haha

oh and I LOVE PINK !!

    xx

    • Angela Lanter

Thank you, Marion! Well shoot, I hope you get that sound fixed because it’s definitely going to be a series on YouTube and it’s going to start really soon!! ?

  • I personally love the idea of having you review/share your thoughts on higher end items. Even if I can’t afford something at the moment doesn’t mean I’ll never buy it in the future. And it certainly doesn’t mean I’m uninterested in an *honest* and *genuine* opinion. I feel like your down-to-earth perception will be easy to relate to and in some cases, give me and others something to look forward to if/when we purchase the things you’re talking about.

    • Angela Lanter

Thanks for this feedback, Joey! I was thinking that a lot of people prefer to buy things “previously loved” and this series could even help them decide which pieces are worth the investment, even used. I purchased my very first high-end handbag used and I was thinking that I should probably share that entire experience as well? ?

  • Yes I’d love to hear about that!!!!

  • Magdalena

Love to see it, as a YouTube video of course!!! 🙂
