One awesome perk to my job as a blogger and YouTuber is that I get the chance to partner with some of my very favorite brands.  I’ve been a fan of Pixi by Petra for several years and I distinctly remember my first encounter with the brand when I bought my first eyeshadow quad.

In this video, I’m showing you how to cocktail your mascaras to get the lash look of your dreams.  Mascara can be intimidating, with so many different formulas.  Different formulas give you different results, so why not create your own cocktail to achieve the look you crave?

For this look, I started off with clean lashes then applied the Pixi Black Lacquer Lash Primer to prep and prime my eyelashes.  Next I applied the Pixi Lengthy Fiber Mascara which adds fibers to your lashes to create a longer fringe.  Lastly, I sealed the deal with another coat of the Pixi Black Lacquer Lash Primer to separate the individual eyelashes and set the look in place.

I also created a second video all about getting fuller lashes with the falsies.  Visit pixi.instyle.com to see my second video plus so much more.  In this video, I show you which tools you need (only two!) to get that gorgeous full fringed look.

What do you look for when mixing mascaras?  Do you want volume but separated lashes?  Or maybe you’re more of a long but full lash girl?  Leave a comment and let me know!

Thank you to Pixi by Petra through their partnership with InStyle for sponsoring this blog post.  While I was compensated to create this post, all opinions are my own.
