Last weekend we ventured out to the desert to experience all things Coachella.  It’s exciting to see all the different fashion and beauty choices all over Palm Springs during this time of year.  My taste doesn’t typically fall under the “Bohemian” category, but I do dabble in that style realm from time to time.  This look wouldn’t be categorized as boho, but it was fun and felt appropriate for the scenery.  This was especially the case when I chose to pair the look with these sandy colored booties.

Our first night in Palm Springs, we had dinner at the Ritz-Carlton in Rancho Mirage.  The hotel and grounds were absolutely breathtaking, but of course they were, it’s the Ritz.  We visited The State Fare Kitchen and were seated in a round booth (half moon shape, perfect for two!) that faced a floor-to-ceiling window with a sweeping view of the entire area (the hotel is located on a hilltop).  It was the most romantic dining experience and the ambiance was incredible.  I ordered the cheeseburger and I’m not even exaggerating when I tell you that it was the most fabulous burger I’ve ever had in my life (duh, Ang.  It’s the Ritz!)  If you are ever in the area, you must stop in and visit this location…  If not only for the food, then the beauty of the resort and the views.

On Saturday, Matt and I had an early finish to our day, so we were able to venture out and explore the area a bit.  We shot several different looks in some really cool locations!  This particular location was very interesting to me because you’d never see any abandoned house in the middle of nowhere in LA.  I really enjoyed taking time to see more of the town than just the hotel and Coachella itself.

I think you would look so good in a bohemian styled outfit, I almost see a couple of feathers in your hair, lol. I think when you’re not into the style of the event, doing something with hairstyle or adding a hair piece can help a lot. Your braids look super cute!

The dinner description tho. It feels so good to be out dining in a nice place every once in a while. So happy you got to relax and had such an amazing time at Coachella!
