I’ve always been a Kelly Green and Emerald Green fan.  I love how rich and lively the shades are and always gravitate towards pieces in those colors.  This dress is absolutely lovely.  It’s the perfect look for St. Patrick’s Day (next week!) or just Springtime in general.  Skater style skirts and dresses are another favorite of mine.  I love how feminine they make me feel.  The skater style has such a classic 1950’s feel to it, and we all know how much I love those vintage styles.  This dress has such a great structure.  Because of the heavier fabric, the skirt stays perfectly full, unlike many other skater dresses or skirts made of a softer fabric.

To play on the beautiful green shade of this dress, I choose to pair it with these gorgeous cobalt blue high heels.  I feel like the combination of the two colors is absolutely stunning and sort of unexpected.  When I’m wearing a hero piece in such a brilliant shade, I typically gravitate towards more neutral shades (like I did with my clutch!) but the payoff from the green and blue combo is fabulous!
