My Mom’s Creamy White Meatloaf Recipe

My Mom’s Creamy White Meatloaf Recipe

When you hear the word meatloaf, do you think mystery meat? Or how about dry, ketchup covered hamburger loaf? This is no joke the world’s best meatloaf recipe. It’s creamy and anything but dry. My mom has been making this my entire life and it’s now a staple recipe around my house.

Ingredients:

– 1 egg
– 1 lb. of ground beef
– 1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup
– 1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
– Bran flakes (I used Corn Chex here because I was out of my normal bran flakes.. It wasn’t as good without it!)
– Worcestershire sauce
– Carrots
– Potatoes
– Half a can of water
In a bowl mix together your meat, egg, onion dry soup mix, half the can of Cream of Mushroom soup and several splashes of worcestershire sauce. Crush a handful of bran flakes and add crushed bran flakes until the mixture is a thick enough consistency to form a meatloaf. Put your meatloaf into a pan and arrange carrots around. Spread other half of soup can on top of meatloaf. Pour half a can of water around the meatloaf and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Add potato pieces around meatloaf and more water if needed and bake for another 45 minutes.
